Reading RoboCup Humanoid League places without inventing a world ranking
How HumanoidPodium stores Kid/Adult and Small/Middle/Large football podiums from RoboCup 2021-2026 as sourced places, not a global ladder.
Football on this site is a place-and-score ledger. We list published podium finishes from RoboCup Humanoid League reports and, for the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games, the five-a-side final. We do not invent a single "best humanoid football team" ranking across years and size classes.
Size class matters. KidSize and AdultSize (older naming) and Small / Middle / Large (newer naming) are different competitions. A first place in Middle Size is not comparable 1:1 with a Large Size final.
For RoboCup 2026, our sourced firsts include INVIC (Small), B-Human (Middle), and Tsinghua Hephaestus (Large), each with a RoboHub knockout write-up as source_url. Older years keep their own Kid/Adult podiums back to 2021 where public reports exist.
The 2025 Games five-a-side final is a separate meet: Tsinghua Hephaestus over HTWK Nao Devils, 1-0, per Xinhua English. That row sits under World Humanoid Robot Games 2025, not under RoboCup.
If a league PDF only names places without a final score, we store the place and leave the score blank. No source_url means no row. Contact us if you have a missing official results page.
